CWe went to Cuba (with permission from the US Treasury Dept.) as part of a group, with the purpose of encouraging the Evangelical churches in Cuba. For one part of the trip, our interpreter was a youth pastor. He had finished preaching at his local meeting place around midnight, then hitchhiked more than 40 miles on largely deserted roads to meet up with our team. He arrived after 2 a.m. the same night. The next morning he was ready to go before breakfast. His life and servants heart are such a testimony to his love of Christ.
